Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say, “O Allah! Grant me benefit in what you have taught me, and teach me useful knowledge and provide me with knowledge that will benefit me.”
On behalf of the Al-Mamoor School administration and staff, I would like to welcome you to our school Website. We look forward to working with parents and the community to make this year another successful year in the history of Al-Mamoor School. At Al-Mamoor School, our determination is to create a total community committed to learning and safety for ALL children. Al-Mamoor school system is focused on student achievement to meet all rigorous standards. Our educational program addresses each student as an active and intellectually curious child eager to learn and will learn about the world and the people in it. In addition, Al-Mamoor School provides foundational knowledge of Islam, follows New York State curriculum standards and requires students to take state tests and Regents exams.
Our school spirit creates a sense of unity and companionship amongst our students and staff. Our staff, parents and students work in harmony to create a learning environment where self-motivation, personal responsibility and respect foster creativity and achievement. Our staff work very hard to make sure that we prepare all students to achieve our rigorous standards and expectation. This work includes getting to know students on a personal level, adapting course curriculum to meet individual needs, and providing additional help for students who need it.
I hope this website will convey the excitement and pride that we feel for our school.
Hisham bin Hassan narrated from Al-Hasan: Regarding the verse: “وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ” O our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter. He said: “Knowledge and worship in this world, and Paradise in the Hereafter.”
